Academic Advising
Student advising is an important part of the collegiate education process. Academic advisors provide an integral part in shaping the student's education to meet the student's academic and career goals. Advisors serve a critical role in student success. To provide a high-quality advising experience, the Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering has four full-time academic advisors who are available as a resource to all students throughout their time at K-State.
If you are unsure of your assigned advisor, log in to Navigate. Your advisor is listed on the right side. If you are not assigned to an advisor and you are a mechanical or nuclear engineering student, email Amy.
Academic advisors
Students assigned to MNE academic advisors schedule their appointments through Navigate. If you don't see any availability for your advisor in the Navigate, contact them directly through email.
Some faculty advisors schedule appointments through Navigate, and some schedule appointments directly. Students should confirm their faculty advisor's preference.
Advisor changes are facilitated by Engineering Student Services. Students may email enggss@k-state.edu to request a change.
