Abstract

This report tabulates the currently best available parameters for approximating the line-beam response functions used in both gamma-ray and neutron skyshine analyses that are based on the integral-line beam method. Also presented are data for approximating the neutron conical-beam response functions which are useful for skyshine problems with azimuthal symmetry. Finally, parameters are presented for approximating ground correction factors that account for the perturbation of the neutron skyshine field by the air-ground interface. The data presented in all the tables are also available electronically as ASCII files which can readily be incorporated into specialized skyshine codes.
