Graduate Studies
The department of mechanical and nuclear engineering offers graduate programs in mechanical engineering and nuclear engineering, both lead to master's and doctorate degrees.

Distance Education with K-State Global Campus
Earn your nuclear minor online.

The master's in mechanical engineering and the master's in nuclear engineering degree programs are designed for working professionals. All courses are online, however, students will travel to the Kansas State University campus once at the end of their program for an oral examination conducted by their supervisory committee.

Navy personnel who have nuclear engineering training through the Nuclear Power School or the Navy's Bettis Reactor Engineers School (BRES) are eligible for transfer credit.
